Thank You, Faculty
By choosing to celebrate the achievement of Penn State graduates, you honor the contributions students have made in their time at the University. These instructions will answer the questions you might have concerning commencement and help to make the conferral of your students’ degrees a memorable and joyous experience for you all.

Arrival
Faculty wishing to participate in any of the commencement ceremonies should report to the appropriate building (see the Commencement Schedule) at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony along with your academic regalia. A University Marshal will be present to assist and place faculty in the academic procession.
Venue Bag Policies
In adherence to best practices at major entertainment venues, walk-through metal detectors are in use at all entry gates, and there are restrictions on the size and type of bag permitted into the arena for all ceremonies. See your College commencement website for more details.
Regalia
If you wish to rent regalia, contact the Penn State Bookstore (814-863-0206).
Location
Please find the ceremony location for your college on the Commencement Schedule, and match the ceremony venue to the corresponding meeting location listed below.
The Bryce Jordan Center
Designated Faculty Area: Green Room, Bryce Jordan Center Directions: Once in the building, enter the arena floor via Portal 15. Ushers are available to direct you to the Green Room once on the event floor.
Eisenhower Auditorium
Designated Faculty Area: 310 Conference Room, Eisenhower Auditorium Directions: Enter the auditorium through the front doors. Walk up steps on either side from the front lobby to the Conference Room. Or, if you prefer to use the elevator, proceed to the left when you enter the building. Signs will be posted.
Pegula Ice Arena
Designated Faculty Area: 158 Auditorium Directions: Enter through the Hockey Office to find the auditorium down the hall.
